First off we departed from our home sweet home. We left Daisy there in her kennel and said our goodbyes. Our EDA was supposed to be 5... but as we all know those get pushed back because of unexpected delays. We left the house at about 5:50 so I guess it was still 5.
Our First stop (technically our second due to a gas fill and stomach fill (brought to you by your friendly DQ)) is in a Super 8 Motel in Carter Lake, IA.
It is here where we leave our vehicles behind in the Airport Parking Lot (so if you want to take em… good luck getting past security). Here are a few pictures (taken by Josh) of this exciting first stop on our trip to California!..::Cal

Yipee!!! You're on your way :) We love all the pictures of fun spots along the way. Shouldn't computers have smell-o-vision by now? We'd love some smells....maybe. Thanks for the fun blog! We look forward to hearing about the adventure (take a picture of Ben's toe).
